Scratch Games
This week we are learning the basics of programming. We are doing this by making games using Scratch software. You can download the free software from http://scratch.mit.edu/download.

Scratch allows you to use you're imigination and create a game that you enjoy.
ReplyDeleteIt is also great that we have freedom to create any game that we like.
I dislike scratch because i think it could be easier by having more options of what you want your scratch to do. Because sometimes it's hard to create a game if i doesnt have the things you want.
I also think scratch could get some more life like characters, that would be awesome.

Scratch forms the basics of computer programming though it is quite limited.
ReplyDeleteIt is easy but too simple to be called a computer programme, the graphics is stale and the game-play is(would be) plain and laggy.
It may sound cynical but scratch it too limited in many ways.
for example:2d graphics in this case is very easy to use for manouvering sprites however if it had depth it would actually have much more to offer as a teaching aide
